In 2015, Pierce was signed to the Australian record label Future Classic alongside Flume and Chet Faker.
His debut album is scheduled for release in 2017. In December 2016, Pierce announced that he had been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and Depression. On July 8th, 2017, Pierce died at the age of 29 due to suicide by hanging himself.
